INTRODUCTION
Everyone wants to be renewed on Earth right now after the past half decade… At 80 after a 10-month move, I especially look for opportunities to renew, refresh. I have many books to write and projects to launch that have emerged as new ideas during an exhausting yet energizing year.
This message “Thinking way seriously out of the box” from an extraterrestrial point of view about “renewing” at 80 -- led to a new sense of significant creative possibilities and events after an almost year-long move and reorganization. The suggestion to follow the nudge right now to “soar” higher in bigger dreams – and to join children, help children, be with children right now as they try to realize new dreams, changed the energy I was bringing to creativity: Broad horizons and follow ideas of “soaring”! I’m 80. How could I possibly “soar”!?
Grandmother says “at any age” so I guess “lift off” and “rocket ships” and “flying through space” are not out of the question… I have been a playwright in some fashion since my 20’s…I guess not too far- fetched. I never posted the screenplay, “Air Traffic Controllers” (about an interplanetary space travel “union” of air traffic controllers who have way more power than you would think – and a Doorman is important if you get stuck in a room between timelines and can’t get out…). I never posted it because it was unfinished. It’s still waiting for a certain history to unfold that’s still a couple of years away from now!
ODDLY, in that screen play was the very first appearance of Grandmother from Another Planet! Which I found going through old papers during the move, in an old near-final draft – a kind of deux ex machina solution… (“The god in the machine” solutions were common from Greek dramas – ETs in spaceships?) A being would come down from on high in a device and give judgment and assignments for how to solve everything).
Stay tuned. Who knows what could happen when the ending is finally revealed, about our current history. In the meantime, “SOARING” when you’re looking for new ways to renew – and playing with children – is a fine learning process!

You can paint at 80 as you painted at 8. You have only to give into it and do it like a mission of curiosity, designing something beautiful in a day of discovery.
Painting is not a job, an assignment at 8. It is not hard. And there are no boundaries with age. Imagination reveals a life of intriguing, beautiful memories to paint, to play as an orchestra with new curiosities. You have more to discover at 80 than at 8 because you have a vast 80 years of remembering what to paint, of desires to refresh and discover as you let go of the rules, for there are no real rules at 80. All are imagined.

You can soar wildly at 80 and dance, dare – and if anyone asks you why you are doing this, why you are inventing new outfits or colors, you can say, “I’m 80.” That will be sufficient.
Children may want to curiously play with someone who knows at 80, how to play without rules… but with a vast range of paints and parades of memories and decades of pent-up play ready for release!
